Yes, but you need a low PH for the rams. Guppies will tolerate low PH that the rams like but the rams will not tolerate high PH that guppies like.

not to mention a well planted, well furnished tank or the rams will usually become stressed (plants help keeping the water perfect, just how the picky ram likes it) Usually you will also need to understock the tank or over-filter as with other fish that need very very good water quality.
