    dwarf gourami's and guppies?

    Saw a beautiful cinnamon dwarf gourami today...do those mix with fancy guppies? 29g tank...no fish yet (buying a few today).

    A few yrs ago I have dwarf gourami with guppies and platys all in the same tank and everything was fine

    Most people would say yes, including me but ive heard from a FEW people that they nip fins. It will most liky work out in a tank of your size, and if you get them from petsmart you can always take them back.
    45-gallon: 2 kribensis, 2 convicts,7 fire mouths.
    25-gallon nothing lol wont stay this way much longer!
    55-gallon 1 pleco,1 jack dempsey 2 rock bass, 2 pumpkin seeds, and 3 gobies.
    10-gallon 1 male betta
    20 gallon long- 2 kribensis
    20 gallon high- feeder fish.

    they are good but are voracious fry eaters and the males can get bossy as they get older, good if you dont want any fry in your tank because they quickly learn all their favourite hangouts and will even turn over leaves and clumps off moss to scare them out.

    Ha! Thats funny, one of my friends just told me he saw his gourami do that.

    Yes they can live together. I talked to the people down at my LFS and they said that they can live together, but watch them because sometimes gourami's can be aggressive. If you do get a few, i think it will be fine with the size of tank you have. Just keep an eye on them if anything should happen.
